BERAT CASTLE

This blog is about an other castle named Berat Castle.The fortress of Berat is erected on a hill of 187 meters high, on the left side of Osumi river it is a very unique castle and it has a triangular shape.As you see the most of the cities on Albania have a castle, this means that ALBANIA is a place with history.This castle was called by the romans Albanorum(the house of ARBERS)the first generation of Albanians.The castle of berat had 24 towers.That were called TABJE by the turks.The fortress of Berat in its present state, even though considerably damaged, remains a magnificent sight. The surface that it encompasses made it possible to house a considerable portion of the cities inhabitants. The buildings inside the fortress were built during the 13th century and because of their characteristic architecture are preserved as cultural monuments. The population of the fortress was Christian, and it had about 20 churches (most built during the 13th century) and only one mosque, for the use of the Turkish garrison (of which there survives only a few ruins and the base of the minaret). The churches of the fortress were damaged through years and only some have remaine.Berat is a touristic place and ,not very expensive, down there i will show you where you can find Berat on the map.
You can go there with a car or a bus.There you will learn a lot of Albanian History and Architecture.
The statistics has verified that Berat was one of the most visited place in Albania in 2017.

THE GOLIC BRIDGE -MOKER,POGRADEC

On this blog im going to show you about Golic bridge world heritage protected by the goverment .It is 17 m long, 3 m wide, 10 m high. It is the art work of the old street "Via Egnatia". It was built in the second century and is classified as a first-class culture monument. It is a bridge with two semicircular wings, one of them is a discharge window (also with a semicircle), and in the column between the two arches, water is formed by a water slope, characteristic of most bridges with two or more rafters in Albania). The bridge is built with carved stones, where the lower part of the crevice has big stones and worked well, not just for aesthetics, but to make the structure more solid and stronger.There is a Legend that the structure of the bridge is build with gold.You can go there only by car and while you are driving you will see many surprises!

THE BLUE EYE (SYRI I KALTER) ALBANIA

On this blog im going to write about an phenomenal touristic place named the Blue eye. This place is very liked by the tourists.It is near the village named Muzine.It is called the Blue Eye because of very clear and cold water.From the depth of the spring the water takes the color of the cloud under the raise of the sun.The temperature of the water is 10degree celcius.Its shape is equal with the shape of the eye ,dark on the middle.Its depth is 45 m.There is a deverse plant wich is always green.It is protected by the goverment and it is natural monument.You can go there by car or by bus.Near the Blue Eye are some câfes where you can get some rest.This is the place where you can find peace.Hope you like thish blog!😃
